How to be sustainable in beef consumption - Exploring the factors. Case study

The aim of the paper is to explain beef consumption through economic indicators and prediction tendencies consumption. There are countries like Slovakia that confirm opposite trend despite global growth. In terms ecosystems' sustainability, production should be adjusted accordingly, as in case Slovakia. We focus on aspect from perspective sustainability. Commodity prices considered a significant factor influencing behaviour consumers. Despite increasing income Slovakia, covers only 30% recommended doses year 2018. To achieve objective research, we decided use calculation price elasticity food demand using Almost Ideal Demand System (AIDS) model analyse meat trends. findings will decline following years, it progressively replaced by pork poultry meat.
